Step 1

Drag HardStop into Applications

Once the download finishes, open the file you just downloaded. A window will appear showing the HardStop icon and your Applications folder. Drag the HardStop icon onto the Applications folder to install it.

This step is complete when HardStop appears inside your Applications folder.

Step 2

Open HardStop

  • Open your Applications folder
  • Double-click HardStop
  • If your Mac asks whether you're sure you want to open it, click Open

Step 3

Verify Your Membership

When HardStop opens, enter the email address you used when you signed up. This is how we verify you as a member.

Make sure it's the same email you signed up with, otherwise we won't be able to verify your account.

All Done

Installation Complete

That's it. HardStop is installed and protecting your Mac. There's nothing else to set up.

We've done speed tests and there's no noticeable impact on browsing speed.
